Cynthia is licenced to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the UK and South Africa.
Cynthia offers professional Clinical Psychological Services and Psychotherapy to individuals using an approach she describes as an integrated strategic psychotherapeutic approach. Her emphasis is on applying evidence based techniques and strategies to help clients understand and resolve sources of psychological worry and distress. She has a special interest in anxiety, insomnia, work stress, adjustment to life events stress, and the actualisation of potential strengths and positive states of mental wellbeing.
Cynthia has extensive experience in the field of Psychological Assessment using Psychometric instruments. This includes assessing people’s strengths, capabilities and potential through integrated psychometrics for individual self-growth and for business purposes. She also provides psychological assessments to assist in identifying and managing cognitive, behavioural and emotional risk in key work roles. Her assessment experience incorporates different settings (academic scientific research, private practice, organisational) and clients across multiple industries including Mining, Aviation, Financial Services, Professional Services, and the Digital sector. She has worked globally providing assessment services to clients at their businesses in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, Dubai and the United Kingdom.
Cynthia currently spends some of her time in the UK and some in South Africa. She offers the flexibility of online services using secure video platforms, and also provides in-person services to her clients from her office in Rosebank, Johannesburg. She is licenced with the HCPC in the UK to practice as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical) and with the HPCSA to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa. She is registered as a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS and is a RQTU Certified Occupational Test User [Personality and Ability] and EURO Test User. She offers a wide range of psychometric assessment and clinical psychology services. She partners and collaborates with a number of professional associates to deliver services to clients.
